The Lock Technology 9-Piece Wheel Torque Master Kit (1593) is a professional-grade tool set engineered to deliver precise and consistent torque for vehicle lug nuts. This kit provides a reliable method to prevent the over-torquing of wheels, a common issue that can lead to significant damage to studs, rotors, and expensive alloy wheels. Designed for use in professional automotive service centers, tire shops, and mechanic bays, the kit simplifies the process of achieving correct torque specifications with every tire change. Each socket is a torque-limiting device, meaning it is specifically designed to stop tightening once its preset torque value is reached, ensuring compliance with vehicle manufacturer guidelines and enhancing overall safety and reliability. The set includes a range of popular sizes and torque settings to accommodate a wide variety of passenger cars and light trucks.KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Ensures every lug nut is tightened to the correct specification, preventing damage from over-torquing. Specialized design automatically limits torque applied by an impact wrench, eliminating guesswork. Speeds up service times in busy shop environments while ensuring accuracy. Designed for use with 1/2-inch drive impact wrenches for seamless integration with existing tools.SPECIFICATIONS: LT1500A: 13/16″ – 100 ft-lbs (135 N.M) LT1500B: 21mm – 80 ft-lbs (110 N.M) LT1500C: 19mm (3/4″) – 100 ft-lbs (135 N.M) LT1500E: 19mm (3/4″) – 80 ft-lbs (110 N.M) LT1500F: 19mm (3/4″) – 65 ft-lbs (90 N.M) LT1500G: 17mm – 80 ft-lbs (110 N.M) LT1500I: 7/8″ – 120 ft-lbs (160 N.M) LT1500Q: 7/8″ – 140 ft-lbs (190 N.M) LT1500BB: 21mm – 150 ft-lbs (200 N.M) Included Accessories: Custom storage case and color wall chart (LT-1500WC)HOW TO USE: Determine Vehicle Requirements: Locate the vehicle’s recommended lug nut torque specification from the owner’s manual or the included wall chart. Select the Proper Socket: Choose the torque socket from the kit that matches the vehicle’s required torque rating and lug nut size. Attach to Impact Wrench: Connect the selected torque socket securely to a 1/2-inch drive impact wrench. Install the Lug Nut: Tighten the lug nut using the impact wrench. The torque-limiting socket will automatically disengage once the preset torque is reached. Finalize Installation: Repeat the process for all lug nuts. For added assurance, verify tightness with a calibrated torque wrench.BENEFITS OF USING THE LOCK TECHNOLOGY 9-PIECE WHEEL TORQUE MASTER KIT (1593): Enhanced Safety: Prevents broken studs, stripped lug nuts, and warped brake rotors caused by over-torquing. Increased Efficiency: Reduces installation time by removing the need for repeated manual torque checks. Protects Vehicle Components: Minimizes the risk of costly damage to alloy wheels, studs, and brake parts. Consistency: Ensures uniform torque across all lug nuts for proper wheel mounting. Professional Reliability: Delivers a repeatable process that meets high service standards.FEATURES: Quick identification through color-coded socket design. Each socket preset to a specific ft-lbs and N.M torque value. Made for 1/2-inch drive impact wrench compatibility. Durable storage case included for organized portability. Updated wall chart included for easy torque reference. Torque-limiting design prevents overtightening during use.
