The Lang Tools 2 Gauges – Fuel Injection Cleaner (TU-470B) is an essential tool for professional automotive technicians seeking to maintain peak vehicle performance. This system is engineered to thoroughly remove carbon deposits that accumulate in intake valves, fuel passages, injectors, and combustion chambers. By clearing these obstructions, the TU-470B helps restore the original, efficient spray pattern of fuel injectors, which is crucial for optimal engine function.KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS: Dual Gauge System: Features two 21/4″ pressure gauges with dual scale dials (0100 PSI and 07 bar). The right-side gauge displays the vehicle’s existing fuel pressure, while the left-side gauge allows for precise setting of the cleaning pressure, ensuring accurate application. Comprehensive Carbon Removal: Effectively cleans carbon buildup from intake valves, fuel injectors, and combustion chambers, which is vital for restoring proper engine operation and fuel delivery. Improved Vehicle Performance: By clearing deposits and restoring injector spray patterns, the system helps enhance engine power, optimize fuel efficiency, and improve a vehicle’s ability to pass emission tests. Robust Canister Design: The anodized 20 oz. capacity bottle is designed for stability, allowing it to sit flat during filling. A centrally mounted chain and S-hook improve balance during use, minimizing unused cleaning fluid. Enhanced Durability & Safety: Includes a new check valve to prevent cleaning fluid backflow and a stainless steel braided Teflon hose that resists solvents and abrasion for extended tool life. Gauge boots provide additional protection.SPECIFICATIONS: Model Number: TU-470B Gauge Size: 21/4″ (each) Gauge Range: 0100 PSI and 07 bar Canister Capacity: 20 oz. Hose Material: Stainless steel braided Teflon Dimensions: 6″12.25″10″ Included in Product: Fuel Injection Canister with Dual Gauges, Stainless Steel Braided Teflon Hose, Gauge Boots, Centrally Mounted Chain and S-Hook.HOW TO USE: Prepare the Vehicle: Safely relieve the fuel pressure from the vehicle’s fuel system according to the manufacturer’s service manual. Disconnect the fuel pump relay or fuse to prevent the pump from operating during the cleaning process. Connect the Cleaner: Connect the Lang Tools TU-470B to the vehicle’s fuel rail. This typically involves using appropriate adapters (not included with the TU-470B but often necessary for specific vehicle models) to establish a secure, leak-free connection. Add Cleaning Solution: Carefully pour the recommended professional carbon cleaning solution into the 20 oz. canister of the TU-470B. Ensure the canister cap is securely tightened. Set Pressure: Start the vehicle’s engine. Observe the vehicle’s actual fuel pressure on the right-side gauge. Adjust the pressure regulator on the TU-470B to set the cleaning pressure on the left-side gauge to match the vehicle’s operating fuel pressure. Run Engine: Allow the engine to run, consuming the cleaning solution from the canister. The engine’s running time will depend on the amount of cleaning solution used and the vehicle’s specifications. Disconnect and Restore: Once the cleaning solution is depleted, shut off the engine. Safely relieve any remaining pressure from the system, disconnect the TU-470B, and reconnect the vehicle’s original fuel lines and the fuel pump relay/fuse. Test Drive: Perform a test drive to confirm improved engine performance and ensure no fuel leaks.BENEFITS OF USING LANG TOOLS 2 GAUGES – FUEL INJECTION CLEANER (TU-470B): Restores Fuel Efficiency: By removing carbon buildup, it helps your engine burn fuel more completely, leading to better mileage. Enhances Engine Power: Cleans critical components to ensure proper fuel delivery, restoring lost horsepower and acceleration. Reduces Harmful Emissions: A cleaner fuel system contributes to a more efficient burn, which can help your vehicle pass emissions tests. Extends Engine Life: Regular cleaning prevents long-term damage caused by carbon accumulation on sensitive engine parts. Cost-Effective Maintenance: Offers a professional alternative to more expensive component replacements or extensive engine overhauls.FEATURES: Integrated check valve design Laser-etched anodized canister finish Stabilized canister base for upright filling S-hook and chain for balanced suspension Gauges with protective rubber boots Solvent-resistant Teflon hose material Pressure regulation valve Connection manifold with hose attachment point
